Compost - Topdressing

Nature’s GREEN-RELEAF™ Compost-Topdressing is screened to1/4 inch. This unique organic humus product can be used as a topdressing for lawns, athletic fields and golf course fairways. Topdressing with compost is primarily practiced as a means to improving turf quality.

Specific benefits that have been documented include the following:
  • Provides nutrients
  • Increases organic matter content
  • Improves soil structure
  • Reduces watering
  • Reduces thatch
  • Improves uneven surface
  • Adds beneficial microbes
  • Reduces winter damage
  • Increase water infiltration
This product also has unique characteristics that make it an excellent organic material in both green roof media and bioretention media.
